While the use of scent in this context has most often been discussed as a way to mask the scent of death, it is far more complex than that. Through aroma we create atmospheres to evoke specific emotions and memories. Water of the Wild Lament is a hydrosol of Sweet Fern, Pine, and Vanilla. The resinous leaves of Sweet Fern and citrusy needles of Pine come together with the aphrodisiac pods of Vanilla to result in a balsamic, bright, earthy, honeyed distillate that is sensual, comforting, grounding, and enchanting. A scent for the season and a companion for anyone moving through loss and singing with ghosts.

Hydrosols are a complete whole plant water medicine. They are an integral part of daily skin care, and have a wide variety of internal and external medicinal uses. Our hydrosols are crafted in house with plants we regeneratively grow, care for & harvest. Each essential water is a part of a really small batch made using a traditional riveted copper alembic still. All hydrosols come with an info card containing the details of their distillation, storage & ways to use.
